LBI Spotlight: Long Beach Township
We’ve built many custom homes on LBI and one of our favorite places to build is Long Beach Township. Long Beach Township is one of the largest parts of Long Beach Island with vast stretches of pristine beaches and a variety of lifestyles for both vacationers and residents to enjoy. Incorporated on March 23, 1899, Long Beach Township has a rich history and is unofficially comprised of four distinct sections, each with their own charm and way of life that is sure to entice new or custom home buyers. At Stonehenge Building & Development, we hope to help customers build their dream home on Long Beach Island, and part of that is helping them find the perfect place to call “home”.
From the tranquility of Loveladies and North Beach to superb boat access in High Bar Harbor or the hustle-and-bustle of Brant Beach to North Beach Haven, Long Beach Township’s 22 square miles has a lot to offer, with 16-and-a-half square miles of water access. As one of the largest parts of LBI, Long Beach Township has 18 sprawling miles of beach, offering the perfect backdrop to year-round activities such as the town’s Fire Pit Fridays which boasts live music from local bands. From the boardwalk to LBI’s Historical Museum or local rental and charter companies such as Beach Haven Charter Fishing Association, Long Beach Township is full of fun things to do for the whole family, right down to the Hartland Golf and Arcade or Black Pearl Pirate Adventures charter.
Home to multiple beach and yacht clubs, Long Beach Township’s four discontinuous regions offers both peaceful havens and quaint busy areas, as well the Holgate section’s impressive wildlife preservations.
Welcoming visitors and locals alike, Long Beach Township has a lot to offer new and custom home buyers. If you’re ready to get started on your custom home on LBI, contact us today to get in for summer 2021.
