With the season fast approaching, now is a great time for seasonal residents to find their way back to paradise to de-winterize their LBI custom homes and businesses that shuttered their doors for the long winter and begin to reopen. But what does that mean for homeowners? At Stonehenge Building, we like to pass a few tips along to our homeowners about easy things they can do to get their homes ready for the season that help keep their homes in tip-top shape so they can enjoy them for years to come.
First things first: Let in the light and fresh air! There is nothing better than letting the ocean breeze into your home after a long winter. Take advantage of the paradise around you and unwrap any outdoor furniture you may have had wrapped to protect it from harsh winter weather. While you’re setting up your outdoor living spaces like your decks and patios, it’s also a good idea to schedule your pool opening before they get booked up for the season. Revitalize your landscaping by cleaning out old plants and mulch and planting new, beautiful spring blooms to help freshen up the exterior of your home. Power washing the exterior of your house is another good spring-cleaning item that can help your LBI custom home shine like the jewel of neighborhood! And last, but certainly not least, the best tip we can give our clients to help them get ready for spring, is to get your beach gear together!
