About 50% of the pools we do are fiberglass pools, which offer many pre-determined shapes and sizes and are a cost efficient option. The other half of our homeowners who do pools choose custom Gunite pools. Gunite is a combination of cement, sand, and water that is applied via a pressure hose and smoothed out to create a truly stunning pool. On LBI, lots can sometimes have limited space, so we love to use Gunite for our inground pools because it takes on any shape or size needed to make your LBI new construction the envy of all backyards! Depending on our homeowner’s imagination, needs, and budget, Gunite allows us to customize a pool to their specific taste. No matter which pool our homeowners choose, it’s one of our favorite ways to cool off during a heatwave!
